Description: Probably my least polished Live Series mix, but full of the right vibe. It has it all – some flaws, distortion, hecticness – but it most definitely doesn’t lack any energy. Amazing night in Lahti, really enjoyed going back to the 90’s techno vibes here.

Full 2 hour recording of my first visit to Lahti’s legendary venue, Torvi. This is probably the best concert/club venue in the city, sound is proper and the atmosphere dirty enough for some unconditional techno.
Did some first time floor testing for a couple of new tracks and it was great seeing them go down well. See the comments to spot the tracks in the mix.

Heinäkuussa pitäisi sitten päättää Berliinin ekskursio ja palata Suomeen. Kivaa on, että jo tässä vaiheessa on varmistunut, että loppukesällä ja syksyllä tulee reissattua isosti pitkin kotimaata. Nähdään ainakin Lahdessa, Tampereella, Kajaanissa, Kalajoella, Raahessa, Turussa ja Helsingissä – ja lisää tulossa kunhan päästään lähemmäs kesää.
Odotan myös innolla, että pääsen kertomaan lisää erittäin mielenkiintoisesta uudesta klubiresidenssistä, joka alkaa syksyllä sekä fiiliksistä kesän ja syksyn myötä starttaavien “Orion DJ/Live”-keikkojen saralla.
As some of you might know, I’ve been keeping a photo blog for the past year here in Berlin. Here are some of my personal highlights of the past summer.
So, what did I do?
This Saturday marks the date for a super exciting looking club concept in Lahti. I’m really looking forward catching the plane and joining in – last time I was in Lahti the party was nothing but excellent (see video of Orkidea’s 20 Tour in Lahti).
Ministry Of Sun Cruise starts at the harbour of Lahti at 18:30 giving the party people a proper sunset experience with Ministry Of Sound’s Gavyn Mytchel, Jayvee & J7 and me headlining. More information about the cruise on Facebook (there should be still some tickets available).
The main event starts at Senssi, Lahti at 22:00 and should be nothing short of brilliant. During the past year 2Ibiza possé have proved to be one of the most forward thinking, interesting and innovative new promoters in Finland and I’m really happy having the possibility to finally join in.

Awesome weekend in Seinäjoki & Lahti. The audience was off the hook at both parties and it was a privilege to play after the main man Orkidea finishing his official tour set. It was great to see how well Orkidea’s new and old tracks went down – no matter if it’s about more hypnotic vibes such as “Sphere” or “Slowmotion” or ravey tunes like Flight 643 remix or brand new Solarstone’s remix of Unity, the crowd was enjoying it at its fullest.
Below is the exact tracklist of the event in Lahti. The tracks in Seinäjoki were more or less the same, in slightly different order. While Seinäjoki was a bit more on a full-on trancey tip (like Atlantis – Fiji (Alpha Duo remix) and Solid Globe – North Pole (Sean Bayer remix), which were played only there), Lahti went to more techno/rave direction (like Maas’ Jetstream and Misjah’s Access).

I’m super happy to jump on the plane and join DJ Orkidea’s Album Release Tour this weekend. On Friday it’s Seinäjoki time – the latest parties at Karma have been nothing but amazing: sold-out venue, brilliant crowd and Pohojammaa-vibe which is non-describable (because afterwards you don’t remember a thing). Lahti, the Chicago of Finland is up on Saturday and equally exciting. I’ll be closing the night after Orkidea’s performance so the music should go to a pretty uplifting direction this time. Can’t wait!
And yes – you can buy Orion & J.Shore’s new album “Brotherhood” both in Seinäjoki and Lahti. It’s out on Friday so you’ll be among the very first to get a copy. Besides, I have a feeling that a chill-out record will be handy after these tour nights ;)

Impulse returns after a long break to celebrate its six year birthday this Saturday. The event truly has an eclectic lineup, including house, progressive, trance, psy-trance and hard-nrg. Combining such an amount of styles reminds me from the old days when club events (or raves) were advertised as electronic music events, rarely mentioning only one style or music genre on the flyer.
Lahti also has a strong history as a city of hardstyle music events and I’m expecting the party get totally loose when the BPMs go up.
I’ll be playing between Anton Sonin & AMX and Poliisi, 23:00-24:00. See you on the dance floor :)
