YleX:n perjantai-ilta valmistautuu jouluun isolla kattauksella uutta kotimaista tanssisoundia. DJ Orionin ensimmäisellä tunnilla soitossa mm. kotimaiset Kayan Code, Joonas Hahmo, Muffler ja Peetu S sekä ulkomaisista piakkoin Tampereelle saapuva Xilent, Otto Knows, Solarstone, Swedish House Mafia ja Morgan Page.

Viikon XmiXin toimittaa tammikuussa Jack-klubille keikalle saapuva Kiki. Kiki on yksi ahkerimmin ulkomailla keikkailevista suomi-DJistä ja asunut Berliinissä jo vuodesta 1994 eteenpäin. Lukuisat julkaisut mm. BPitch-labelilla sekä keikat maailman superklubeilla Ibizan DC10:sta Berliinin Panorama Bariin ovat arkipäivää. XmiX-tunnilla kuullaan tällä viikolla 100% autenttista Berliini-soundia, kun heti klo 23:n käynnistetään livenauhoite Kikin setistä Berliinin Watergate-klubilta.

I’m really excited about this. The nice guys at DJ Mag asked me to do an official mix for their “DJ Mag presents” series. Because I’m working weekly quite radio friendly mixes for YleX, I decided to take a bit more undergroundish approach to this. Here’s a techno/house mix, which in my opinion is the best dancefloor orientated DJ mix which I’ve done in years. It’s a mixture of Helsinki’s Jack club’s sounds, the After Hours vibe and has been influenced a lot by the last 1,5 years in Berlin.

YleX:n joulukuun ensimmäinen perjantai-ilta tarjoaa kahden tunnin konemusiikkispesiaalin.
Ohjelman ensimmäisellä tunnilla kuullaan DJ Orionin setti itsenäisyyspäivän aatolta Colors Festival -tapahtumasta.

Kakkostunnin XmiXiä varten valtakunnan virallinen rankemman soundin sanansaattaja Proteus toimitti eksklusiivisen kattauksen omaa vielä julkaisematonta musiikkiaan. Matkassa on biisejä, joita on voinut kuulla aiemmin ainoastaan kiertuekeikoilla, joita Proteus on tehnyt yhdessä Lab4-kokoonpanon Adamin kanssa. Haastattelussa pureudutaan Proteuksen viimeisimpiin projekteihin sekä käydään läpi miten DJ siirtyi livekeikkojen pariin ja kitaran varteen kiinni.

Illan lähetys kuullaan livelähetyksenä Tampereelta.

Joulukuun puolelle siirrytään YleX:n taajuudella isolla ryminällä. XmiXin ottaa haltuun Helsingin Colors-festivaaleille itsenäisyyspäivänä saapuva venäläinen Arty. Arty on noussut muutamassa vuodessa yhdeksi maailman kysytyimmistä elektronisen musiikin tulokkaista ja miehen kappaleita soittavat kaikki genrerajoihin katsomatta Swedish House Mafiasta Armin van Buureniin.

DJ Orionin ensimmäisellä tunnilla tarjoillaan huikea kattaus uutta kotimaista klubisoundia. Eksklusiivisessa ensisoitossa mm. TJH87:n mashup-raita Friends, Heavyweight-kollektiivin uusi biisi, Lovetonen huikea “Detonate” ja Lope&Kantolan uusi “They Have Nothing On Us”. Trancerytmeistä huolehtivat myös JPS, Far From Near, Lisko ja Kai Harmaala ja rikkobiittiosastolla luulot ottavat pois Netsky, Muffler, Detuned ja Rico Tubbs.

Marraskuun toiseksi viimeinen perjantai-ilta huipentuu YleX:llä huikeaan trancepläjäykseen. Vain muutama päivä sitten ensimmäisen kansainvälisen mix-CD:nsä julkaissut DJ Orkidea tarjoilee XmiXissä tunnin kattauksen Pure Trance -soundia ja kertoo haastattelussa tulevasta remix-albumistaan sekä Pure Trance -konseptin synnystä.

DJ Orionin ensimmäisellä tunnilla tarjoillaan uutta elektronista musiikkia laidasta laitaan. Viikon sisällä levypakkiin on eksynyt musiikkia suomiartisteilta kuten Koobra, Labtracks, Dirty Bunnies, Lovetone, Super8&Tab ja Peetu S. Ulkomaisvahvistuksina toimivat Eric Prydz, Deadmau5, The Prodigy ja Andy C.

Tsekkaa myös vielä viikon pyörivä Colors-skaba ja Klubikysely 2012.

YleX:n perjantai-ilta kumartaa tällä viikolla isosti Suomen suuntaan. Soitossa on uutta musiikkia mm. Lovetonelta, JPS:ltä ja Marko Kantolalta. DJ Sampl:n tuore sinkku pyörii ensisoitossa ja DJ Orkidealta saadaan ensimakua pian julkaistavista uusista Hale Bopp-versioista. Discorytmejä tarjoilee Koobra, teknopuolta edustaa Sharkslayer ja trancevetimissä paahtavat Lisko ja Kayan Code. Rikkobiittirytmejä sekoittelevat 501 ja Muffler ja Viikon Vinyylissä ihmetellään miten TV-sarja “Derrick” ja acid-soundit sopivat yhteen.

XmiXissä kuullaan livenauhoitus TJH87:n keikalta Oulun Neverland-tapahtumasta kahden viikon takaa. Huikeassa nosteessa oleva TJH87 (Timo Juuti ja Hector87) toimittivat XmiXiin erittäin eksklusiivisen livesetin ja kertoivat haastattelussa onko YleX:nkin soittolistoja hallinnut soundi velkaa enemmän Justicelle vai Daft Punkille. XmiX alkaa poikkeuksellisesti jo klo 22:30 jälkeen.

Osallistu myös Klubikyselyn finaaliin ja voita huikeasta palkintoarsenaalista VIPpejä, musiikkia, artistipaitoja ja paljon muuta.
