Kesäistä juhlasoundia tarjolla ohjelman jälkimmäisellä puoliskolla klo 22-23, haastiksessa kuullaan mm. You Are Me:n kesävinkit Ibizalle.

YleX:n perjantai-illassa kerrataan tällä viikolla alkuvuoden parhaimmistoa. Ensimmäisellä tunnilla DJ Orionin hyppysissä ovat tammikuusta toukokuuhun kertyneet parhaat klubiraidat. Edustettuna ovat mm. Gareth Emery, Madeon, Mind Vortex, Daft Punk, Peetu S, Super8&Tab, Mikael Jonasson sekä Daft Punk.

XmiX-tunnin ottaa haltuun Heavyweight DJsiin kuuluva ja samassa yhteydessä vahvaa soolouraa pyörittävä Lovetone. Lovetone kertoo haastattelussa miksi sytytti itsensä tuleen keikan päätteeksi, mitkä ovat mietteet tämän hetken EDM-trendistä ja miten oma sooloprojekti eroaa Heavyweight-tuotannoista.

Perjantaina 16.12. YleX:n perjantai-illassa käydään läpi tuoretta suomalaista elektronista musiikkia housesta progeen, trancesta drum’n’bassiin ja pistäydytäänpä myös hard dancen puolella Proteuksen uuden raidan merkeissä. Soitossa mm. LAOS, Alex Kunnari, Timo Juuti & Hector87, Turismo, Something Good, Orjan Nilsen, Camo & Krooked ja Mike Koglin.

Myös XmiX edustaa tuoretta suomalaista osastoa kun dekkeihin käy kiinni Anton Sonin, alias Lovetone, joka kruunattiin City-lehden “Klubien uudet kuninkaalliset” -artikkelissa nousevista DJ-nimistä kaikkein kirkkaimmalla kruunulla. Lovetone pyöräyttää XmiXissä tunnin setin erittäin ajankohtaista housesoundia ja kertoo haastattelussa miltä tuore aatelisarvo tuntuu.

Ohjelmassa julkistetaan myös Hello 2012 -skaban lippujen voittajat.

Ohjelma on kuultavissa jälkikäteen Ylen Areenalla viikon ajan.

Trancen supertähti Ferry Corsten Colors-klubille

Syyskuisen, Helsingin The Circuksessa järjestettävän Colors -klubin pääesiintyjänä nähdään saksalais-hollantilainen trancen supertähti Ferry Corsten. Corsten on yksi trance -genren tunnetuimmista ja pisimmän uran luoneista artisteista. Hän aloitti uransa 1991 tuottamalla hardcore-kappaleita, mutta siirtyi varsin nopeasti trancen pariin. 1990 -luvun loppuun mennessä hän oli noussut yhdeksi mailman suosituimmista trance-DJ:stä. Hänen suurin hittinsä on vuonna 2001 System F -nimellä julkaistu “Out of the Blue”. Hänet tunnetaan myös Tsunami Recordin ja Flashover Recordsin johtotehtävistä. Corsten on myös yksi maailman tuottelijaimmista trance -artisteista. Hän on julkaissut seitsemän albumia, ja lukemattoman määrän menestyssinglejä eri aliaksilla kuten Ferr, System F, The Tellurians, Vimana ja Goyruella. Hän on myös työskennellyt useiden hyvin tunnettujen vokalistien kanssa, näistä nimekkäimpinä Marc Almond ja Robert Smith.

Corstenin lisäksi tapahtumassa nähdään vaikuttava lista kotimaisia elektronisen musiikin huippuja. Lavalla nousevat Alex Kunnari, Proteus, Orion, Heikki L, K-System, Lovetone, Tom Fall, Ali Darian, Johnny Wilde ja Käpä.

Ennakkoliput tapahtumaan ovat myynnissä Tiketissä hintaan 18 euroa (+ toimituskulut), ovelta liput maksavat 20 euroa.

Dutch wonder Menno De Jong hits Helsinki’s Kaivohuone tonight. Lovetone, Luminescent and me will be doing the warmup (see the schedule below) and terrace should be open with laidback house vibes as the summer seems not to stop :) I’m really looking forward to the night – Menno is sure not to disappoint and it’s been ages I’ve last seen Luminescent perform and Lovetone’s new productions have been top quality, so that should be worth hearing too. BTW, check his brand new remix of Super8&Tab’s “Empire” – grreat stuff.
