YleX:n joulukuun ensimmäinen perjantai-ilta tarjoaa kahden tunnin konemusiikkispesiaalin.
Ohjelman ensimmäisellä tunnilla kuullaan DJ Orionin setti itsenäisyyspäivän aatolta Colors Festival -tapahtumasta.

Kakkostunnin XmiXiä varten valtakunnan virallinen rankemman soundin sanansaattaja Proteus toimitti eksklusiivisen kattauksen omaa vielä julkaisematonta musiikkiaan. Matkassa on biisejä, joita on voinut kuulla aiemmin ainoastaan kiertuekeikoilla, joita Proteus on tehnyt yhdessä Lab4-kokoonpanon Adamin kanssa. Haastattelussa pureudutaan Proteuksen viimeisimpiin projekteihin sekä käydään läpi miten DJ siirtyi livekeikkojen pariin ja kitaran varteen kiinni.

Illan lähetys kuullaan livelähetyksenä Tampereelta.

Joulukuun puolelle siirrytään YleX:n taajuudella isolla ryminällä. XmiXin ottaa haltuun Helsingin Colors-festivaaleille itsenäisyyspäivänä saapuva venäläinen Arty. Arty on noussut muutamassa vuodessa yhdeksi maailman kysytyimmistä elektronisen musiikin tulokkaista ja miehen kappaleita soittavat kaikki genrerajoihin katsomatta Swedish House Mafiasta Armin van Buureniin.

DJ Orionin ensimmäisellä tunnilla tarjoillaan huikea kattaus uutta kotimaista klubisoundia. Eksklusiivisessa ensisoitossa mm. TJH87:n mashup-raita Friends, Heavyweight-kollektiivin uusi biisi, Lovetonen huikea “Detonate” ja Lope&Kantolan uusi “They Have Nothing On Us”. Trancerytmeistä huolehtivat myös JPS, Far From Near, Lisko ja Kai Harmaala ja rikkobiittiosastolla luulot ottavat pois Netsky, Muffler, Detuned ja Rico Tubbs.

Marraskuun toiseksi viimeinen perjantai-ilta huipentuu YleX:llä huikeaan trancepläjäykseen. Vain muutama päivä sitten ensimmäisen kansainvälisen mix-CD:nsä julkaissut DJ Orkidea tarjoilee XmiXissä tunnin kattauksen Pure Trance -soundia ja kertoo haastattelussa tulevasta remix-albumistaan sekä Pure Trance -konseptin synnystä.

DJ Orionin ensimmäisellä tunnilla tarjoillaan uutta elektronista musiikkia laidasta laitaan. Viikon sisällä levypakkiin on eksynyt musiikkia suomiartisteilta kuten Koobra, Labtracks, Dirty Bunnies, Lovetone, Super8&Tab ja Peetu S. Ulkomaisvahvistuksina toimivat Eric Prydz, Deadmau5, The Prodigy ja Andy C.
