Vaikka elokuu on koittanut, YleX:n perjantai-ilta pysyttelee vahvasti kesäfiiliksissä. Uuden klubimusiikin saralla napataan soittoon vahvasti pakkaa hämmentävät versiot Will Smithin ja Liemisen biiseistä, klassikko-osastoa kesätrancen suunnalta, vahvasti rantafiiliksissä liikkuvaa housepianoa ja parit uudet drum’n’bassit.

XmiXin valtaa tunnin verran omaa tuotantoaan esittelevä Lope&Kantola. Tamperelais-oululaisen kaksikon tuore biisi päätyi vasta australialaisen Energy FM:n soittolistalle ja herrojen XmiX sisältää kauttaaltaan vielä julkaisemattomia tuotoksia EDM:stä tiukkaan, kesäiseen housesoundiin.

YleX:n perjantai-ilta raportoi lähestulkoon suorilta Summer Sound Festivalilta. DJ Orion liikahtaa studioon kahdeksi tunniksi suoraan festivaalialueelta kertomaan perjantain alkuillan tunnelmia Messukeskuksen lähimaastosta. Ensimmäisellä tunnilla soitossa mm. uutta remiksiä Pharrell Williamsin Happysta, Duke Dumont, Mark Knight, 4 Strings sekä kotimaiset TJH87, Shine Fish, Timewave, Tontario ja L.A.O.S

Kakkostunnille lähdetään Rico Tubbsin XmiXin voimin. Todella kovan vastaanoton saanut XmiX on uusinta maaliskuulta, mutta mies tavoitettiin tuoreiden uutisten kera puhelimen päähän.

Joonas Hahmo, Ninth Floor, Newjack, TJH87, You Are Me, Lope&Kantola, Jason Seizures, Kristian Lindell, Sami Määttälä, Orkidea, Petri Alanko aka Lowland ja Tontario. Kotimaisten lisäksi Viikon Vinyyli -osiossa vähän vanhempaa kesäsoundia ja esittelyssä joukko tämän hetken kuumimpia ulkomaisia teknosta drum’n’bassiin ja tranceen.
