Richard Durand arrives to Clinic’s first anniversary party to freshly opened Bangkok Night at Helsinki centrum on 21.2.2009 (Facebook event here). During the past year, Clinic has been bringing some quality trance jocks like Above & Beyond and Menno De Jong to Helsinki and I think mr. Durand will be a perfect choice for the anniversary party: the tech-trance lovers will definitely get what they are expecting, but the Sundown remix of his bootleg hit of Skunk Anansie’s Weep (listen below) also proves his skills on a more proggy side.

Impulse returns after a long break to celebrate its six year birthday this Saturday. The event truly has an eclectic lineup, including house, progressive, trance, psy-trance and hard-nrg. Combining such an amount of styles reminds me from the old days when club events (or raves) were advertised as electronic music events, rarely mentioning only one style or music genre on the flyer.
Lahti also has a strong history as a city of hardstyle music events and I’m expecting the party get totally loose when the BPMs go up.
I’ll be playing between Anton Sonin & AMX and Poliisi, 23:00-24:00. See you on the dance floor :)
