Here’s my oldskool hard-nrg/hardtrance/acid techno set played at 00:30-01:30 @ Playground, Helsinki 17.06.2011.
Cosmic Gate’s remix of Miss Shiva’s Dreams cover was probably the track of the hour. See the video below.
The records ran around 160bpm and so did my heart. Phew.

This one should be interesting and lots of fun. I’ll be playing my first (and probably the last;) hard nrg / hard trance set in 10 years or so. I was really into 160bpm+ music in the early 2000, but as I heard already back then, your age and slower bpm often go hand in hand :) But nevertheless, when asked, I felt really good digging the shelves for the old records (yes, this one will be 100% vinyl gig) and sorting out the Cannon, VCF, VCR, Tinrib, Stay Up Forever and Ef.adrine classics and tunes from Lab4, Choci, Mishka, Weirdo, Mauro Picotto and many more.
